炎帝陵 ：地处炎陵县鹿原镇鹿原陂，是中华民族伟大的人文始祖之一，炎帝神农氏的安寝之地。陵殿金瓦红墙，庄严肃穆，壮丽堂皇，成为炎黄子孙寻根谒祖之圣地。景区有神农大殿、咏丰台、圣火台、天使馆、御碑园等许多建筑群和景点。炎帝陵是全国重点文物保护单位、全国百个爱国主义教育示范基地之一、国家AAAA旅游景区。
Emperor Yandi Mausoleum
The mausoleum of Yandi, where lies the tomb of Emperoer Yandi Shennong, one of the earliest ancestors of Chinese nationality, is located at Luyuan Slope, Luyuan Town, Yanling County. It has become a sacred place of Root Seeking and Ancestor Worship for all the descendants of Emperor Yandi and Emperor Huang.It is composed of the Shennong Palace, Yongfeng Terrace, the Holy Fire Alter, the Angel House and the Royal Tablet Garden. It is the State Preservation Unit of Key Historical Relics and a AAAA state tourist zone.
对炎帝陵的建设和祭祀活动，党和国家领导人及地方政府领导历来非常重视。1993年9月4日，国家主席江泽民欣然挥毫,为炎帝陵题写陵款，并立碑于陵内。1993年以来,湖南省人民政府举行过四次大型公祭。1995年起，株洲市人民政府每年重阳举办炎帝节并祭祀炎帝陵。炎陵县人民政府每年清明举行祭祀活动。1993年世界华人华侨龙舟赛开幕式圣火和2000年“中华文明之光”圣火均在炎帝陵“圣火台”采取火种。
炎帝陵的御碑园是一个见证历史的长廊。对炎帝的祭祀，民间始于夏，官方见于周，帝王起于唐而兴于宋。以后历代皇帝便“三岁一举，率以为常”，每次祭祀完毕即刻御碑以作纪念。
